3.75 ⭐️ (rounded up) I appreciate midnight library for it’s inspiring plot.  It’s a great reminder to just live and continue with life’s potential. I think this is a good book to pick up when life is life-ing, you know?

Beware, multiple trigger warnings.

I really loved this book and the message that it shares. I feel like this is a book I’ll likely want to come back to many times as a reminder that no decision is so permanent that I’ll be stuck forever. That the most important thing is that we must keep living and trying and adapting to the person we are growing in to. I really appreciated the reminder that even the small decisions you make hold impact to those around you.

Overall just a really nice, simply wholesome read on a very serious topic.

I like the message of this book, but I'm not sure I can say the same about the technicalities. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of fantasy, I do enjoy it if it's well-written which was the case. However, I can't get behind authors trying to make it 'make sense'. It's one thing to present me with an unrealistic setting, it's another to try to rationalize it. I also missed a bit of worldbuilding. But otherwise, I enjoyed the story.
