Writing this review was hard for me.

The manga was very light-hearted, fun to read but at the same time very painful, heartbreaking and sad. The author is very brave and honest to write all of this to the public. Kudos to that!

I understand that the author simply just want to tell her story in a light way so that it's not too hard to read. However, i feel alcohol addiction is a serious problem and shouldn't be taken so lightly, i wish that the author could add some more reflective thoughts on her issue because now, everything is a bit too light .
for a near-death experience

Moreover, there was a part about
after the re-lapse, sometimes the test results were a bit off as if the results and the acohol issue weren't related. It's very easy to think that alcohol didn't affect the health based on that
. I'm no expert, but just like weight, it could go down after eating a lot but it could also go up after eating just a little. Weight or any kind of measurements depends on multiple factors. To know for sure, we have to base our judgements on long-term results. Maybe the author should add more thoughts on that part to avoid some misleading information because this is a sensitive topic and there are many types of readers as well.

I wish i could give a higher rating because i like the book but i can't because it would be unfair to the other books i have rated.

This book out of all of then was my least favorite. HOWEVER it is still VERY GOOD!

I liked the story but by the end it was a little odd. Talking about themes and stuff that she's already done and done very well. To me it's shocking that the themes she talked about weren't thing that she knew has been talked about and greatly liked by her fans.

** SPOILERS **
But besides that I really enjoyed the moment where she was talking to her doctor. And he was like "yeah here we don't really see drinking as more than just a drink, but in other countries they see it more as a drug" Which explained very well to me why no one was intervening on Nagata's heavy drinking. Knowing that if she was drinking that heavily in the US (to the point of frequently wetting the bed) someone would have sent her to a rehab facility.

It really shows the difference in cultures.
** END OF SPOILERS **

Anyways, this one didn't hit me as hard as her other ones but this book focused on a more specific topic than her previous 3. But there were still some themes that carried over.

This book felt like a bit of a departure from Nagata’s deeply introspective work, and although I understand why, I didn’t like it as much as her other stuff. The last third of the book and the ending redeemed this volume for me.
