A more complete and workable SciFi plot helps this book. But I personally didn't connect with Adam's POV as well as Remy's, and missed having that emotional link. I do want to give the author kudos for the progression of the sex in this story. As a long-time sex worker, Remy has issues and preconceptions to get past, before he can have a healthy relationship. And Adam's awareness of that, and his clumsiness in trying to not push Remy in the wrong ways, worked for me.
