Cute but has no storyline. What's the point of this book?

A touching book about a dog and all their quirks. I could totally see using this as a mentor book for students to write about their pet. So sweet.

My sister's (former) landlord liked this book so much that she named her puppy Boodil, and she has it on display in her living room. This is an amazingly high rating for Goodreads, and I have to admit that at first I did not appreciate the nuances of the book. On about the third read, I think I finally "got it." Some of the reviews are very insightful!

Summary (CIP): Boodil the dog has many endearing qualities from his bottom-first climb down the staris to his nightly "Superdog" exercise routine.

Review:
I am not a dog lover, but this books reminds me of every dog I ever almost loved. Boodil and all her quirks are described so lovingly by her unseen owner. Readers will enjoy Boodil herself, as well as comparing her to their own pets.
