I read the whole thing (idk why) and I’m gonna give it to someone younger than me.

There’s some good nugs in there but the collection as a whole is some serious white gay lib shit. (I’m white and gay).

I should have known when the promo quote on the back was from the CHAINSMOKERS

"Before we begin, I'd like to share a story.
Once upon a time there was a jellyfish. We'll call it
You.
You become lost sometimes
You could be unsure
You tried very hard
But sometimes it didn't feel like enough.
I hate to spoil the ending
But You is fine
You is still here
You is going to make it."

I'm not necessarily a big fan of poetry in general but I read the first poem, loved it and decided to pick this up. There were a lot of poems I didn't enjoy or didn't really get but there was also a lot that really touched me. They made me feel numb and very emotional and seen.
Would maybe consider reading more.

A contemplative, heart-warming collection of poems, thoughts, and prose. Great for fans of Rupi Kaur, Nikita Gill and Hollie McNish

A nice collection.

Some were really beautiful and hit close to home, while others felt more like an after thought.

“Of all the tragedies on this earth, there is none more tragic than a person who cannot see their worth.”

There are some poems that I easily related to. There are also poems that really spoke to me and I wish I could etch them into the minds of people who really need to hear/read them, because they deserve to know how much they should stay..

Was ich mochte:
