I read the second Pillow Thoughts book before this one, and I honestly like it better than the first. A lot of Peppernell's poetry is very relatable, but most just lacks a little "oomph."

i try to read *all* poetry with a grain of salt, because i know it’s not always going to fit the type i like to read. however, and i mean this in the nicest way possible, i enjoyed a handful of the multitudes of poems in this book. the others were fine, not terrible, but not necessarily my cup of tea.
