Horribly boring and repetitive.
Nothing happens it’s the same half a page chapter repeated over and over and over and over again. I’m not exaggerating it’s that repetitive, and worst of all it’s repetitive with no character development no story and no backstory. They are going south. Why? Who knows. Does anything happen along the journey? If you call 300 pages of search for food in rubbish an even worth repeating for 300 pages then yes.
This is my second Cormac McCarthy book and there won’t be a third.
