Good stories

I wish some had been longer. Better still, novelized.

I wish she was still here so I could tell her how much I enjoy her work.

I always forget why I love short stories, until I read them again. Butler was a wonderful writer and getting a little glimpse of her mind from her afterwords is a privilege.

The first story made me want to vomit—it was that descriptive. I just love butler’s writing because it brings an intersectional (and therefore realistic) worldview to her sci-fi that her white, male peers simply cannot match.
