Not really my speed. Enjoyed the drawings, but increasing/decreasing list books generally irritate me.

I didn't think it was Silverstein's best work, but fun nonetheless.

This was a cute book, but not my favorite Shel Silverstein poem. It depicts the story of a little boy who has a pet giraffe, and what would happen if that giraffe were stretched another half. It continues with a building list of scenarios that would occur as a result. I enjoyed the artwork, the silliness, and the rhyming in this story.

Giraffes are my favourite animal so I was really looking forward to reading this book. It was a hilarious tale of a giraffe and a boy and what happens to them throughout the story will entertain children endlessly. The ending is brilliant and well thought out. Would make a fantastic read aloud.
