idk how she does it, but TJR always has me cancel all plans to read her books in a day or so. (I mean lol what plans, though). I absolutely loved this one. The combination of Hollywood historical fiction, family dynamics exploration, and perseverance during difficult times made for a compelling story that centered around the 12 hours leading up to and during the annual Riva Malibu party.

I really enjoyed the author’s writing style! This is my first book from TJR and I truly enjoyed it. Lots of emotions but I loved the strong bond between the siblings. I loved filling in the timeline with the time jumps, but felt there were too many characters during the party scenes and many felt unnecessary to the overall storyline. Definitely recommend and looking forward to reading more from her!

Loved it! TJR truly is amazing at making each one of her books so unique and so well developed in its own way. The development of the characters was perfectly done and the ending was so satisfying. Loved the way we had the past and present weaved together and got to hear the story from different perspectives. A must read for any TJR fans.

I'mmmmm so sad this story is over for me nowww, I was fully invested and I want to take surf lessons and move to Portugal now.

The older siblings taking care of their little siblings and losing their childhood to make sure they were taken care of, have my heart. Ending between Riva's was so emotional and Mick Riva you will never be famous.
