Snappy dialogue. Humorous moments. Retro-old-schooly style art. I'm in.

I can acknowledge that this is good, it just wasn't my cup of tea, which is why 3 stars. A middle ground that takes into account both my likes and the quality of book. There were points where I did chuckle a bit, but overall I found it hard to keep my attention towards this book.

Tells a great street level story of an ex-Avenger trying to live life. Beautiful art style. Great writing. Nothing will beat the scene where they are in the red camaro, while Kate leans out the window shooting arrows and the Tracksuit Mafia. Also was super cool to see it transitioned into the Hawkeye Disney+ show.

I don't knowing was alright..I guess I am still not that into comic books. I liked the young avengers comic at the end though. I have the next one so I will probably read it. I don't know why I wish I liked comic books more...

Everything about this Hawkeye run makes me love the character when previously I didn't know much about him. I think taking his story down to a really street-level, "average everyday superhero" kind of vibe makes him more human and showcases his personality, flaws and all. AND the art is exceptionally well done. Just a really standout series and I wish that a certain comics conglomerate would appropriately compensate their artists when they use their work as the basis for TV : - )
