@breroseauthor SLAYED this book! It picks up right where Finding left us. The first part is a rough read just cause the FMC is going through hell plus some.

The sex is panty soaking and sweet. The storyline is so good just the right speed and the world/character building is on point. The author also totally gave us some vibes on giving us some spin-offs which I am here for.

I wouldn’t mind a novella later on with where they are now years later…kids..marriage where they live…daddy earl lol etc etc

Bre you know what you did in that prologue and I’m so thankful and honored lol I may have shed a tear or two just cause It was so cool

This book was everything I knew it'd be. From the first word to the last word it had me glued to the pages. It is a fast pace quick read that'll have you on the edge of your seat pretty much the whole time as this is the final book in the Memphis duet and mercy was it intense, and full of twists, turns and betrayal what more could you ask for. There are triggers in here that you need to read before reading it, because phew it had me squeamish through some things and I don't have triggers, but it was so damn good it was hard to stop once I got into the story. I absolutely loved loved all the character's in this duet except the bad ones. I highly would recommend reading this duet and get ready to fall in love with them as well.

Did not disappoint!

This took a darker turn than I was expecting but I am here for it! The book was incredible. It mixed extremely hard topics, with personal growth, forgiveness, and a bit of steam. Oh, and can’t forget the ooey gooey sweet moments with Ash and her men.

I wasn’t quiet ready to say goodbye to them!

Hmmm

I would give this 2 stars, but I threw in a third purely because of how gut wrenching some of the triggering scenes were to read, I can't imagine how difficult they would have been to write.

I'll admit, this was marginally better than the first one. But would I urge a friend to read it? Probably not.

You can really see that the author has grown in writing style since book 1. Be sure to check the triggers before reading though! It’s quite dark.

This book was a dark, hard conclusion to the story, but there were lots of loving moments too. The suspense towards the end of the book was killing me but I was superhappy with the ending.

I did think that Ash got over her trauma a little bit too quickly, but then again, you only have so many pages in a book.

Saving Memphis

Hmm... this book was a lot darker in the beginning so pay attention to the author's warning before beginning. This book also had some cheesy cringe worthy sentences in it. Especially in some of the scenes with her stalker. Things that I couldn't picture a grown man saying, even a delusional grown man, so it put me off a bit. Other than that, I thought it was good. I'm looking forward to the spinoffs.

Warning for triggers ❗️❗️❗️❗️

This is a Dark Romance tale. It does not pull the punches and the second one is far more intense with Dub/Noncon, abuse, betrayal, miscarriage, and the healing process after such a traumatic experience.

At first I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this duo set as fully as when I added it to my tbr. The writing style was a bit rough around the edges in the first book and I struggled to get invested at the start because of how quickly the leads built a bond after the stalker threat that lead Ashlynn to run in the first place. But I ended up invested in the character's strongly in ths first book. It was worth sticking around for the intensity that this continuation provided.

The first book was pretty dark on it's own but this second one, oh boy! Certainly not for the light of heart. There isn't any skimping through the noncon/dubcon, the physical abuse nor the trauma our female lead experienced. Bre Rose did well with managing time jumps where it gave insight without the loss of the story build up, keeping me on the edge of my seat in hopes things will turn out with a much needed sweet revenge. I appreciated the process of healing through the trauma with therapy and the positive and loving support our girl needed.

This book is super intense. There are graphic scenes that can be very triggering, so go into it cautiously if you have triggers. Ashlynn has already dealt with so much and now she’s been taken by her stalker. She is held for over a month before she gets rescued. She deals with a massive betrayal from someone she trusted during that time. Once she’s home, she has a hard time overcoming the betrayal to be able to trust again. The guys are there for her every step of the way. Ryker included. I love the way they all love her and don’t let her push them away. They’re so patient and tender, but firm when she needs it. It’s a beautiful relationship and I’m so glad I got to read about it. Bre Rose did a wonderful job dealing with Ash’s trauma and not just brushing it aside and magically having her be healed because she has her guys. Life doesn’t work like that, but sometimes in books it does and that always bothers me. I’m sad their story is over but I’m hopeful there will be more in the future because I really loved these books and especially these characters. I’m very much looking forward to the spin-offs about other characters in this same world.

This book was one heck of a ride.
The book starts off right where book one ended. Immediate my heart was I my stomach.
I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. All of the revelations had me in shock. So many things I swore I had figured out were completely wrong.

I absolutely loved all of the guys! They were all do sweet and caring no matter what was thrown at their relationship.

I'm so sad this duet is done because I really loved their story.

So many feelings right now. I have been awaiting this sequel with such anxiety of what was going to happen to Ash and her men. This book I will warn you has some intense triggers, so be aware and go into reading knowing this. I will not spoil anything, but we get to meet some new characters, some good, some not so good. Who's the traitor? Who is the stalker? Better get reading soon and you'll find out. What is up with Ryder too? Boy has got a bug up his butt I tell ya, but WHY?

Bre is in her early author 'life' and she's THIS good already. I can't wait to see where she takes us in upcoming books, in this universe and outside it.

I received an advance review copy of this book, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
