Telling the story of life for a Jewish family in Poland during WWII leading up to their time at a concentration camp, this story is filled with dread and fear. It took time to get through this first collection, but it’s one that will stick with me. I think I’ll wait a bit for the second collection.

This wasn't quite as good as it was hyped up to be. It was, however, a great book. I think it could serve as a great way to introduce WWII history to reluctant readers and those reluctant to read any history.
