I wish I had read this book sooner than I did! I picked it up based on a recommendation from a friend and felt it was a great way to honor Dr. Sue in her passing. I never knew her but I have seen the impact her work has had on others. I was told this book was the pinnacle of impacted in a friend’s life. After reading, I can honestly say this book deserves 5 stars.
As you progress through this book be prepared for it to reveal those deep places of hurt and how they have impacted your life and relationships. For me it also revealed motives behind actions toward me. I can see those dances in different light. Rest in peace Dr. Sue! Thank you for your work. This is a master class on relationships therapy.
