I really liked it! It was sweet and allowed the characters to kind of get to know each other again.

I kind of feel bad for giving this book three stars. It was more of a "it's me not you" situation with this novel. I thought the characters were fine and the writing was good, but it just couldn't hold my attention the way I wanted it to. This is most likely because I've never been super into second chance romances. I rarely like the ones that I read unless it is done a certain way. I would have liked this way more if this was a two book series, with the first book telling the story of how they got together and the second one being this book. I just connect more to the characters when I am completely immersed into how they fell in love. Having a chapter here and there that explains how they met and little things they did together just never seems to do it for me. Don't get me wrong, the book was pretty cute, it just wasn't for me. I would still recommend you to read it if you are interested in it.

What a great start to this series!
Poppy has come back home. She left after her life was turned upside down and the man that was supposed to be her number one rips the rug out from under her. What she wasn't expecting was to run in to him so soon after she returned.
This was a great, easy-to-read book that I wanted to to devour in ove sitting!
The writing in this book was incredible. I felt like I was right there with them. What they felt, I felt. I definitely would recommend this book!

3.5 stars!

This was a classic sports second chance story, but for some reason it wasn’t all there for me. The book evoked a lot of emotion but the connection between characters fell a little short. I would love to read the next installment when it comes out.
