I love this book. Reading Jasmine’s struggle with her dad, that part is so Filipino, as Jasmin is a half-Filipino. Its like an asian thing, graduating from college, having a degree would always be the parents goal for their kids.
I loved it!! just wish the plot once she recognized he loved her and that she loved him back was a bit longer, it felt rushed
honestly my fault for reading it tbh after seeing how the wall of winnipeg went. at least i know to steer clear of any other MZ books!
