It’s Lauren Asher, no one writes billionaire romance quite like she does

honestly, this went about as i expected. 3 stars.

i’m of the firm opinion that contemporary romance novels don't need to be over 350 pages. i said what i said.

“Turns out I’d rather build a home with you than a thousand houses by myself.”

Un libro de romance no puede tener 500 páginas pero sorpresivamente no se me hizo interminable. Lo adoré. Es el libro de Lauren Asher que más me gustó hasta el momento.

I think the Dreamland boys ruined me because I just didn't love this book as much as I wanted to. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but there was just something missing for me. I kept waiting for it to get better and then it was over. I would say it's worth reading in you are looking for a fluffy second chance romance but I wouldn't expect it to be amazing .

I liked the characters, Julian more than Dahlia. I don't speak Spanish so looking up the translations took me out of the story each time but that is a me problem not a book problem. I loved their background, their families, their history, their connection, their banter. Julian is 100% everything you should want in a partner.

However, my 3 stars isn't stopping me from hoping for a Rafa book in my near future :)

I really enjoyed this. I found Dahlia very relatable and adored Julian. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!
