I found the book a good read up until the fact that there is basically martial rape happening. Which is something I will never agree with, also it might not seem like rape because both characters were finding outs in the situation but to read it and contemplate on it was different. 
Overall I think the love story was cute because it was almost like forbidden love at first simply because of the MMC childhood trauma but to see him grow was nice and to see how well they actually were together and grew to love one another is always a good love story.
