Wow! This series is intense.
One of the main things I really loved about this series is the relationship between Kova and Ria is genuinely believable, the way their love is portrayed you can feel the chemistry and the angst and heartbreak in every scene. That being said…
I feel like the end was a bit rushed. She moves to Oklahoma and every year he sends her his journals filled with his thoughts about missing her and stuff, and three years later he shows back up and that’s it. We don’t get to see them come back together. We don’t get to see her finish her dialysis and get her transplant. We don’t get to see her father come to terms with their relationship, or her brother be okay with them being together.
He shows up at her door and the next chapter is the epilogue. I was a little bit disappointed because I’ve been invested in this couple for five books now for their ending to be rushed. I was happy we get to see them as parents. I knew Kova would be a great dad, and he is.
I was really hoping to see how things ended with Avery and Xavier (maybe they have their own story idk)

These books have been on my tbr for ages now so I’m glad I finally read them. I will say don’t plan on doing much of anything for a while if you’re going to bing this series like I did. lol I enjoyed reading it and I think if you’re into angsty, taboo, age-gap, and student/teacher type stories this ones for you.
I recommend you go in with an open mind and the knowledge that THIS IS FICTION. In the same way a Faerie that’s supposed to be 800 years old can be in a relationship with a 19 year old. Or a mafia boss can force an 18 year old to be his wife. Or the head of a biker gang can be in a relationship with a 17 year old.
None of these scenarios would happen irl and if they did nobody would just be okay with it, so if you’re gonna have a problem with one scenario or storyline then you gotta have it with all of them. If something is just not for you that’s understandable, everybody’s not supposed to like everything. Basically what I’m trying to say is lay off the judgement, and nobody is forcing you to read anything you don’t wanna.

I have never been so relieved to complete a book series,in my entire life!
The ending was bittersweet for me,as I feel my emotions were,at times, challenged needlessly to see this happy ending come to fruition. Dismount is the conclusion we all hoped and painstakingly waited for, even if the sweet pleasantness only made up one full chapter.
One thing is certain,I will always remember each and every detail of Kova and Adrianna's story.

Me encanta perder mi tiempo

5 freaking stars! What an incredible end to the series. I absolutely balled like a baby and then was sewn back together with the Kova epilogue. This series will forever live in my head. Lucia Franco is such an amazing writer. Forever and ever will be obsessed with Kova and Ria 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Conflicted. Glad to have finished it, but should have stopped after the first book. I knew I didn’t like it and kept hoping it would get better. I liked the story, I just did not like the main characters. The side characters, yes! But I would be afraid to read a story for Avery and the brother because of the way the author writes main characters. 3 stars for this book but 2 for series overall.

✦What to Expect✦
•Gymnast x Coach
•Age Gap
•Forbidden Romance

✦Characters✦
•Adrianna *Ria* Rossi
•Konstantin *Kova* Kournakova

✦Fav Quotes✦
Kova always said timing was everything. He failed to mention our timing would never, ever be right. I looked away. Love and breathing went hand in hand for us. He exhaled and I inhaled. That would never change for us.

We had something everyone dreamed of having one day, chemistry between two people that only increased the passion each and every time they were together.

Kova was my first everything. He was a devastating love I'd never regret.

✦Thoughts✦
The chokehold this series had on me
