The drama and heartbreak in the book makes the rest of the series look like minor irritations. There is so much love between Adrianna and Kova, and everything finally comes to a head. The Olympics, her health, her future, everything is a major moment they have to navigate. Of course I’m so happy they got their HEA, and I loved seeing Kova fully open up to her.

loved it!!

The beautiful conclusion we all needed!! This was just how I needed Ria and Kova’s love story to end!

It immediately picks up where Twist ended and poor Ria and Kova have been torn apart…again! I loved how much Ria grew in this story, especially at the end. She has finally matured to where she recognizes her health issues and is willing to do whatever she needs to to survive. Of course she still has her Gold Medal dreams but she’s not killing herself to achieve them.

Kova’s side of this book was absolutely heart breaking! It truly made me feel for him and what he’s struggled with throughout the entire series…however he also needed that moment where he had to recognize what he put Ria through. Their relationship was toxic and they needed to grow on their own so they could be stronger together.

I would have loved to have scenes with them actually happy after Kova’s return. Like, we spent 5 books in toxicity and we’ve waited for them to have their moment. Give us that conversation, the proposal, the wedding. I really missed those moments.

I love how Lucia finished their story with Kova’s POV! It was beautiful and made me really fall for him. I can’t wait for Avery and Xavier!

Dismount. Book 5 in The Off Balance series. The last competition.
I'm going to be completely honest with you guys. I don't know what to say.
I have NEVER, been this emotionally invested in a book series before. I finished Twist in May of this year and I very impatiently waited for Dismount to come out. Now that it's here, my heart is breaking.
Kova and Ria have 100% become my favorite couple. The love that they share is completely unfathomable and @luciafranco did such an incredible job writing them.
I'm going to be honest with you guys, I wasn't convinced that I was going to like this one as much as the other ones. Mainly because I was terrified of how it was going to end.
I'm obviously not going to tell you guys what happened, but I will say, the ending was PERFECT.
Now y'all, I am not a person who highlights/annotates books as I read them. I tend to try and focus more on the story. BUT LET ME TELL YOU. I think I highlighted like 90% of this book. There were so many swoon-worthy quotes.
I'm so freaking sad that this series is over, but I will say, @luciafranco did it justice. She gave us the perfect ending and I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Thank you so much for allowing me to receive this advanced copy!

I loved this book, it was so good!! The communication between Kova and Adrianna, especially around the 60% mark was just to the point which I loved as this isn’t common in a lot of romance books. We finally made it to the Olympics and Adrianna got everything she has worked so damn hard for - I’m so happy she did. Now the ending I have a bit of a bone to pick with as it was rushed in my opinion, like what’s the need to keep jumping 2,3 to 13 years. I need more details but overall I loved it and I am so glad I reread for the second time.
