The way this memoir is organized, we toggle from the âhereâ of the authorâs memories with her late husband to the âafterâ of her grief in his absence. Grief is all encompassing, overwhelming, and it affects you in ways you never would have imagined- things being too sad for people around you, losing friends, and feeling like life isnât worth it without your person by your side.
This story is sad but there is light sprinkled throughout as she gives you a glimpse of their love.
