100 Fascinating Londoners is a must-read for anyone interested in local history (London, Ontario). Following significant figures through the 19th and 20th centuries, it focuses on people who impacted local, provincial, national, or international history to some degree, provided that they resided in London, Ontario during some point in their lives. This book introduced me to many people I wasn't familiar with, and gave me a whole new appreciation for the history of London.

My only complaint is that the use of a different writer for each historical figure led to some inconsistency in the writing. Parts of it got rather dry, while other parts were much more engrossing. Occasionally they would mention the parentage of a person, and I would find myself having to check the index to see if that person had been mentioned in a previous entry (some of them had, some of them had not). I feel like the different voices used made it feel as though it weren't really a consistent narrative.

100 Fascinating Londoners is worth the read for any Londoners looking to learn more about London's rich local history. It has its flaws, but the information is worth learning.
