Jack Daniels #6
What an action packed cop series. I'm this one Jack is up against only one adversary, but it's a big one. It is also a very personal one for her. She could lose everyone left in her life either to the killer or her own personality flaws. She can't save everyone and there are some real depressing moments in this book, but still good and suspenseful. Though not one of my favorites of the series as I found some of the personal relationships and talks a little awkward and didn't feel them as much as some previous books have had.

Will this woman never quit!!?! Jack's life is already in turmoil and this just puts the "cork" in it.

I'm so glad this vendetta bullshit storyline is done. Or I hope it is at least....

I gave this book a shot, ended up skimming through a chunk of it, and finally just gave up. It was as stupid as the last book in the series. Half the book is given over to the villain, and it's the same villain...what is this, three books now? Instead of moving on with the series, we're just sticking with the same thing over and over from the same baddie. But then there's just so much more that's ridiculous, like how quickly Jack gets over Latham and moves right to Phin. I won't even get started on the monkey, and what is supposed to be funny in this book just struck me as stupid. It's so disappointing. I really enjoyed the first few books in this series, and then...Fuzzy Navel. That one almost turned me off the series, but Cherry Bomb has absolutely done it.

This book is linked so directly to Fuzzy Navel that I just could not wait until it was in paperback to get it. Fuzzy Navel is still my favorite of the series (as the 5th book), but this one was quite good as well. I really suggest reading these books (starting with Whiskey Sour) because they are so hilarious!

Best book of the series! Jack and Alex finally have a great showdown.

Might be my favorite in this series to date. A little more deep, meaningful, and raw than the previous ones, and a little more sexy too. Plus, there's a monkey. And finally *SPOILER ALERT* we're done with Alex. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I read the first chapter in #6.5 only to find out it really doesn't feature Jack at all (apparently it is a re-write of a book Konrath had published previously but he tweaked it to include some of the CPD characters?), so I'm skipping ahead to #7.

Yet again a wonderful read from Konrath. I love this series and all of the characters. I believe this one may have been my favorite.

Amazing! I loved this whole series! I'm thinking I liked it better than the Stephanie Plum books. This book has the serial killer from hell returning..along with all the characters I've grown to love. Plus a monkey that had me laughing so hard I thought I would pee myself. A Plus all the way!

Very graphic violence and sex. Not as good as the other two I read in this series. Couldn't read the whole thing. Ended up just reading the last 2 chapters so I could see how it ended. I have never done that in my entire life.
