It was good but the conclusion was less then satisfying. I thought there would be more with Ariel's backstory but it kind of fizzled out. As always I love Aster but nothing in this one felt as developed as the previous two. I still really liked it and hope that there will be more explanation of Ariel's family in the future *fingers crossed*

Excellent continuation of an established series. Characters have grown with their powers and their complications. Ariel makes some questionable choices, but her friends understand her perspective and are very supportive. Ending is tied in a bow.
