Easy to read fantasy, romance is cool but not the whole plot which I’m a fan of. Not really enemies to lovers, more like disdain to tolerance and skipping friendship straight to angsty lovers lol FMC catching feelings surprised me more than anything

THIS BOOK HAD ME YEARNING. From beginning to end, I was completely invested in Thea’s story. This was told with the perfect amount of detail, humor, character development, combat, and romance. Yes, it’s the orphan special girl syndrome that we see in most romantasy books, but it was done well. I absolutely love Wilder, but my favorite character was probably Kipp and his ravings about The Laughing Fox. My heart exploded so many times, but I also found myself laughing. Overall, I felt inspired by the love of true friendship, hard work, learning to advocate for yourself as a woman, and being true to yourself. I highly enjoyed this and can’t wait to continue the series cause I know I’m gonna be losing it!!

3.5 stars, rounded down.

This one was a fun read. I’d say that the beginning was a little slow but the ending makes me want to continue with the series.
