I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a romantasy series with a nice slow burn between strong protagonist FMC and morally grey MMC. This first book was great as it wasn’t just focused on them. If you’re looking for your next Aelin TOG vibe, this is a choice.

I liked this concept, even though I felt the romance was a bit too quick for me. Im not sure I’ll continue as I had a difficult time connecting with any of the characters here. It fell a bit flat , and that’s a big motivator for me continuing a series.
