Re-reading as an adult, this is way more problematic than I remember it to be. It's funny how something that began such a funny and sort of cringy teen manga would end up evolving into the greatest story ever told.

I mean I've heard great things about this series, so although I'm not too fond of this volume, I'm willing to give it a chance to develop. There's just so much emphasis on sexual stuff, and it felt so unnecessary, and just created a bunch of unpleasant characters. I don't mind Goku at all, but liking one out of four characters including the villain for the main cast is a dreadful score.

Slow in the beginning but builds to a fast paced and fun fantasy adventure. A classic for a reason.
