I enjoyed this. It's an easy read that doesn't demand too much. Rihannon is a solid protagonist, you're not exactly ever on her side and she's an awful person a lot of the time, but that's kind of the point. If the sequel appears on Kindle Unlimited, I'll probably read it.
A big issue (actually the same minor issue repeated in different contexts that add up to a big issue) is that there are inconsistencies. I read the Kindle version, so I'll ignore the punctuation issue becayse Kindle just does that sometimes, but the two big ones that stick out - the type of vintage car she borrows changes model between pages and towards the end of the book she's counting the number of people she's killed up to that point and is just wrong, like she's wrong if she's counting her whole life and she's wrong if she's just counting from the start of the diary. There are a few others and it feels like they should have be caught by an editor, right?

Ok, so, putting aside the fact that this story is about a serial killer, this was such a good read! The sarcastic humour is brilliant throughout, as is the writing. I can’t wait to read book two and find out what happens next to Rhiannon!

wasn’t aware this book was part of a series and felt very let down by the ending :( slow pace so to get that far with little answers felt unsatisfactory. also confused by her character development?? doesn’t pick up till the end of the book and by then it just feels like too sharp a turn.
