This book took me back to my 50 Shades of Grey Era! This follows what I assume is a traditional Dom/sub relationship. It ends up evolving emotionally, but Nathaniel is very guarded. Abigail tries to knock his walls down to open up emotionally, but he was tough to get through to.
Very simple story with lots of interactions, but I felt like time jumped and I missed when Abby's feelings deepened. Wasn't bad to listen to while I was busy...

I really started to lose interest in the book. I thin the drama and scenarios have all started to become the same and nothing is surprising me or keeping me glued to the pages. I also started disengaging with the characters and couldn't get back to enjoying their dialogue.

If you're a fan of E.L. James and Sylvia Day, you'll enjoy this read. In the beginning it felt a bit rote. I actually looked up the copyrights for both "Fifty Shades" and "Bared to You" to see if maybe there was some copying going on, but they were all copyrighted around the same time in the same year.
After the first few chapters I got into the story and the characters. I enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Oh gurl - this book was spicy and had me clutching my pearls 15 pages in!!! And I loved every minute of it!!!!
La Sumisa relata la historia de Abby y Nathaniel, dos personas totalmente diferentes que se complementan perfectamente. Abby es una bibliotecaria que conocía desde hace años a Nathaniel gracias a que el salvo la propiedad de su madre de ser hipotecada por el banco y desde ese día ella investigó sobre él para descubrir que es dominante y busca de una nueva sumisa.
El libro se me hizo ameno y entretenido, me enamore de Nathaniel junto con Abby y sufrí con ella cuando pasó lo que pasó, me gustó mucho el echo de que Abigail sabia desde un principio que era lo que quería (a Nathaniel) e hizo todo lo posible por llegar a el y complacerlo. Amé que aunque Nathaniel era frío con Abby al pasar de las páginas esa coraza se iba quebrando como a poco y eso me hizo amarlo mucho.
Por otro lado, la única queja sería la amistad medio rara de Abby y su mejor amiga Felicia, ya que, Felicia era muy mandona y grosera con Abby a mi parecer, al igual que era igual de grosera con Nathaniel por ser el dominante de su amiga (cuando ella esta permitiendo todo lo que pasa entre ellos, es decir, no pasa nada malo), creo que mis amistades respetan mucho mis decisiones como para estar criticándome siempre que pueden por querer que un chico me domine en la cama. Just saying...
De todas maneras, amé este libro desde el primer capítulo sin duda, 100% recomendado a los fans del género erótico que aman leer libros sobre millonarios sexys y dominantes.
