This was a fun read although I did not enjoy it as much as some of the other books by this author.

I have read The Submissive before but it must have been before I started leaving written reviews. This book has been on my Kindle since August 2013. Let me just say that I enjoyed this book just as much as the last time. I am trying to get ready to review the latest book in The Submissive Trilogy. Although, I think this has turned into The Submissive Series because there are many more books than a Trilogy.

This is Nathaniel & Abigail's story. I feel that you can read the synopsis yourself and that the author does a great job giving you just the right part of the book so no need for me to repeat the story.

I love Tara Me Sue's writing style! I have the next book in this series on my Kindle and I actually have the audiobook so I will let you know how I like the next story and the audio.

This book was not an ARC and I give it 4.5 stars. I am looking forward to starting on the Dominant as soon as I finish writing this ARC.

Oh gurl - this book was spicy and had me clutching my pearls 15 pages in!!! And I loved every minute of it!!!!

A very hot and sexy read. A great blend of bedroom fun, angst and sweet romance!

Abigail (Abby) King has just applied for the position as Nathaniel West's new submissive. She has desired him from afar and is considered otherwise unobtainable. he is rich, powerful and very in control of his life. She is a librarian with a easy-going disposition that is easy to like.

Abby takes going after what you want to new extremes entering into a BDSM relationship. It starts off very professional-papers to sign, exercise and sleep requirements, etc. As long as she follows her sleep and exercise rules the week is hers to use as she sees fit. But the weekends belong to Nathanial. Pleasure untold is promised but he has a few rules. 1-No Kissing 2-No sleeping in his bed 3-the safe word is not just the end of the session but a relationship breaker. Sounds simple, right? Not when you start to fall in love.

Nathaniel comes across a bit distant from Abby. He only uses her full name and there always seems to be a wall between them. Yet the more she gets closer to him, his family and friends, the more she learns. He has a heart of gold. Honestly some of the things he does makes my heart melt just thinking about it. He will drop everything to help a complete stranger even and more!

This book has some very steamy scenes, naughty bedroom play and more. A great introduction into a BDSM novel. It gets the point across but not too heavy which i liked. Toss int he romantic angst and I loved this! The emotions run off the page and seem very real. one of the best aspects to a good book is to make me feel something. Well things book gives a wide range of feels.

This is very much and adult novel. If you want a new risqué romance with an edge, but still has some sweet, poetic scenes, this book is it!

Compelling characters, excellent dialog and writing.   Good mix of romance and BDSM.

Quick easy read. I felt like the book jumped to extremes pretty quickly, in dialog and with what was going on. From one emotion to the next with out much explanation etc

But this was a good little quick spicy book. If your looking for that, this is your book.

I've read this novel in 2 days, and although I liked the sex, the story itself was under developed and the author didn't pay enough attention to detail. For example, she mentioned that the distance between her place and his estate was a 2 hour drive. At the end of the book he expects her to be at the estate within the hour. Now if I would've read this book over the span of a week, I wouldn't have noticed, but because I read it in 2 days I was able to remember such detail.
I plan on reading the 3rd book, because I think the second book is the same story but from his perspective and I don't care to know what he thinks.
Overall, good book but it could've been better developed.
