A great poem. Really loved how the author used alliteration and their descriptions of nature were beautiful. Really enjoyed the ending as well. Lovely illustrated edition but the pictures were a bit pixelated

What a fun read. The Burton Rafael translation is so amazing, its easy to understand and cleverly written. I can't wait to read the rest of Gawain's, Lancelot's, Arthur's and the rest's stories.

Reread, still at 3.5 the story is interesting and fun but the alliterations are overwhelming and infuriating.

3.5 stars.

Do you like epic poems like The Iliad and the Odyssey? Well, this is the 14th century version featuring Arthur and the knights of the round table.

I know that the rating should be higher. It's a classic tale with a good adventure. I liked it. Simple as that.
