Another knock out of the park by the author. Tackling issues such as younger girl gets manipulated by older guy (possible Persephone  x Hades) interpretation was enough to convince me this was worth the read.

It's tough to find a novel written entirely in prose and the poetry is actually consistently wonderful on every single page. Bright Red Fruit is a stunning novel with the perfect amount of page turning inertia mixed with slow, careful characterization.
