I was so in need of a light, sweet romance and this one was it!!! I enjoyed the main characters and plot. It made me giggle and laugh out loud at times. It was fairly predictable. . . but there were a couple of bends in the road that gave it enough page turning momentum to keep me going. I will seek out this author again in the future. 4.5 stars.

I didn’t expect to find (another) one of my favorite romances IN THE SAME SUMMER! Best best best.

This book was so cute. It had me physically reacting and I took on the emotions of the main character, which a sign of great writing. I think I missed out a little bit, since I don’t know rom com movies, so the references kinda went over my head. I also wasn’t expecting to feel anything with the grief aspect, but it was done excellently. It was so cute and dorky and such an easy read.

So much potential but a little dry for me. The storyline was the same as every other romance really but definitely not a bad book! 🖤

I thought abt it for a while and… hmm I think this book is prob a 3 stars for me.

like it was fun, but only in the second half. the first half was kind of hard to get into, maybe it was just me tho since I’m in a big reading slump.

but… idk…. I guess my expectations were far too high. but it seems there weren’t many cute moments between them. like yes there were cute moments, but not as much as I had hope.

it felt kinda…. insta lovey. maybe it’s also bcs it’s a standalone, so it might have felt like everything had to conclude too fast. but I’m just not sure.

still really cute, and a good read
