Was a good book to go along with watching the Olympic Games on tv. Had me thinking about what these athletes do after a game.....

OMG. Erik was an ass, Brie showed her age, but these two still melted the screen of my kindle. I love this series.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Just when I started to feel burnt out with Rachel's books she came through and literally kicked me in the head with this book and I am more than thankful, she can do that anytime she wants.
I was not expecting to be so obsessed with this book. It was absolutely fantastic, such a page turner filled with romance, lust, drama and such great characters. This book had everything I usually want from a sports romance and I'm really glad I gave it a shot.

Brie was such a bossass bitch right from the start. I adored her personality and how witty she was. She was so determined and hardworking and it was very easy for me to read from her pov. I really loved her a lot until like the last bit of the book when she started to act a little childish and overdramatic but once everything settled I was able to realize that her behaviour was called for because of her childhood and also because of Erik's actions as well.
I just wish Rachel would've given us more of the actual gymnastics and the Olympics in general, the scenes always cut right before the action started.

Erik Winters... What an ass. He was so annoyingly amazing. There were times when I was swooning but then right after those moments he flipped a switch and turned into a fucking jerk and I wanted to smack him across the face.

My favorite thing about this novel had to be the relationship but specifically the tention and chemistry and those arguments. I've only read a few books with such great banter and tention. It was legite dripping from the pages and every single one of their conversations. They were so strong together and their personalisties were burning so bright. And those sex scenes were so intense.

And my other favorite thing were the side characters. I thought that there was gonna be so much girl on girl hate but it was the opposite. Those girls were the sweetest creatures. They were so supportive and funny and just great friends.
And I can't forget about grandpa Nicolas. He was the best for sure.

My only small problem was the ending. It was just immature and stupid but it didn't take long for it to go away. They just had a fight and it showed that Brie was just 20 and a little immature. But the epilogue was pretty cute and I'm still very satisfied with this book.

1ST REREAD:
I'm currently in this weird mood where I don't really want to read but I actually do and I don't want to fall in a slump so I'm just rereading books that make me happy.
This book makes me so happy and excited and even though it's only been like a month since I read it for the first time I've been wanting to revisit this story.

I absolutely love the story and the characters but my favorite thing is for sure the vibe of the book. There's such an atmosphere about it and the tention in the air around Erik and Brie is unmatched.
I'm obsessed with the two of them and I really enjoyed my reread. It was as addicting as the first time and I had so much fun.

I adore all the side characters because they make the book even better, Brie is such a strong heroine and Erik is such an ass but I can't help but love him. The setting of the book is so vivid and intriguing and I'm glad I had time to read it again.

*3.5 stars

I am very conflicted with want I want to rate this one. There are parts that I enjoyed and were downright HOT. But there are parts where I felt that I had already read from her previous books and found myself skimming.

Because of R.S. Grey, I have big love for sports romances now. Her books tend to be such hilarious and passionate stories. I enjoyed Brie and Erik's constant fighting though it was obviously clear they wanted to rip each other's clothes off.

I also really just loved Lexi, one of the side characters, who is on the same U.S. team with Brie. She is hilarious and not afraid to be heard. Can I request a book of her???

What didn't do it for me was the length of this book. Some parts could have been simply cut out, as we already had enough of the quarrels and makeup sex soon after. I also wasn't a big fan of the ending. Everything was just thrown together and felt a tad bit rushed. I'm happy with it's overall outcome, but saddened by the way it came about. This story was made to be a "haters to lovers" story, but I didn't really get that, as it was obvious that these characters were constantly enjoying themselves one way or another.

I did have my laughs and for that, I am happy with the book! I still very much look forward to anything R.S. will write next!

...but seriously.. Can we get a Lexi book? OMG, or a Rosie book! She made my heart swell!!!

This book was tough to get through - like had to stop and come back after months and mainly skimming the ending to make it go by as fast as possible. If I didn’t hate leaving books unfinished, I never would’ve made it through. Especially after *THAT SCENE*. Everything between the main characters was extremely problematic and uncomfortable. Do not recommend.

Yes It took me 2 days t read this book ... Yes I may have read all afternoon instead of working ... yes I am in love with Rachel and every single one of her books !

I enjoy reading the first Summer Games more than this one but it's still a sold 4 star right here.

I mean ... I fell in love with R.S Grey "Scoring Wilder" last year ... and now I read them all and I want more. I am craving for more actually ...

I have to warn you, once you read any book from her you will become addicted but don't worry it's the best drug on earth ... pinky swear <3

I read 50% of the book.
I was really loving it from the beginning. I was hooked from the first page. I however expected something different.
The writing was amazing and flowing through ease. The side characters were amazing.
The problem I had was with the main characters. Especially the guy.
Firstly, there was just tooo much push and pull. And the repeated stress on the age gap and maturity levels really threw me off. I couldn't stand the guys behaviour at times... Sure he's supposed to be an ass but I never expected it to be that intense. I didn't like his point of views at all. They felt demeaning. At a certain point in the book a scene just was the last straw which made me put the book down.
I really wanted to like this book. I love this author and this series but this book was just not for me.

I loved the side characters though ! Hoping for thier books soon!

3.5 stars. Eric is a bloody Jerk! I've been so disappointed by the last 3 R.S Grey books I've read there just meh. There okay nothing special. Scoring wilder is one of my favourites and I loved both Julian & Deans books but both of these books haven't done anything for me I'm not sure why. I prefer the last one to this one. Eric is such an emotional bully it took me days to read it and normally I can read one of her books in a day. Not quite sure how to feel there was something missing for me can't put my finger on it.
