"The only thing that feels right is as wrong as it can get"
Forbidden YA love? *Yes, please.*
Forbidden YA love plus spies, international travel, secret societies and Prada ball gowns? *i think I'm in love*
Knife fights, ancient prophecies of betrothed marriage and twisted family drama? *everything I ever wanted and more*

But seriously, I loved the adventure of this book. The story was fast paced and never dull and the secret society plot line is very well developed. The characters are complex and the boys are totally swoon worthy.
These books are being compared to Ally Carter books but I would definitely classify them as more mature than the typical Ally Carter audience. But fans of action romance or mysteries will enjoy this read.

This was a disappointing read because so much of this story was so obviously delivered in the first few chapters that I was tempted to skip ahead to see if I was right. (I was.) There was no sense of intrigue or mystery in a book about spies and secret world orders.

Instead there is yet another slight, petite (About 102lbs soaking wet) Mary-Sue of a girl who discovers she's pretty important to the New World Order. And there's a love triangle, except not yet but there will be in the second book because it was so ridiculously clear.

I very nearly shelved this book halfway through but after reading some recently that really picked up, I wanted to give it a chance. Luckily it's a real easy read so it won't take up too much of your time.

It's not terrible, just terribly dull.

I absolutely loved this book. Reminded me a little of the 39 clues, and the thrill was amazing. I was searching for a sequel.

This is a fantastic YA thriller! When I first read this book, I didn't know it was a series and had checked it out from the library. I finished the book that night and went to the library again the next day to check out the next two books in the series. I love the concept of the book, it's very fast paced and well done. Now reading it for a second time, I think the novel still holds up!

I found this through the library and it was a really interesting read. I would recommend it but not sure if I would read it again. Maybe in the future

the conspiracy of us is twisty and turny kind of read! It was my kind of book where it just picked up from the first chapter and didn't drag on forever explaining what the book was about! It only took me a long to finish because I couldn't connect to the characters. They didn't feel strong enough for me to have any connection to, well and plus the things that were going on it weren't your everyday situations, to where someone could relate to. I tend to try and stay away from books who's characters are younger then 17... because I'm 21 now and I get no connection with a 16 year old girl anymore! I did enjoy the story line and al lithe craziness that was going on and the ending really makes you wanna pick up the next book! Which is what I was hoping for. There's so much thrill, romance, surprises, twists and turns at every corner you can't help but sucked into the chaos with Avery! I think after all the books that I've recently received I'll pick up the rest of this series

YA romance and adventure. Like The Jewel of the Nile but with teenagers. It was fluffy fun but kind of ridiculous. I'll read the second when it comes out.
