Holy crap, this book! Seriously, Good Girl, Bad Blood is just as insanely fast-paced as the first one. I devoured it in basically two sittings – started it, got totally hooked, had to stop myself (barely!), then raced out to the bookstore specifically to buy book 3 because I needed to know what happened next. Like, immediately.

It just grabs you and doesn't let go. Pip's back, still dealing with the fallout from the first book (ugh, Max Hastings trial... more on him later), and gets sucked into this new missing person case with Jamie Reynolds. The police won't help? Classic. So Pip has to investigate, podcast and all. The whole thing feels just as intense and clever as the first book, with all the transcripts, notes, and interviews making it fly by.

But dude... the last 30 pages?! My mind was completely blown. Like, sitting there staring at the wall going "NO WAY" levels of twisty. Holly Jackson does it again – pulls the rug out in the best/worst possible way. So good. So shocking.

Also, can we just agree that Max Hastings needs to spontaneously combust? The absolute worst. Still hate him. Passionately.

Basically, if you loved the first book, this is a no-brainer. It hits all the same highs: crazy pace, Pip being brilliant (and kinda reckless), mind-melting twists, and that desperate need to grab the next one immediately. Which, you know, I did. No regrets.

Now, excuse me while I go start As Good As Dead (the 3rd book)...
