Thank you to Marika Ray and Sylvie Stewart for allowing me to read a copy of this book. This was such a fun read, and I enjoyed every second of it. The relationship in here was just wholesome, and the spice was spicy. I loved it. And the ending had me believing in love. I cannot wait to check out more from these authors and the first book of this series.

This was my first book by these authors, and it blew me away! After seeing the cute cover, I had a feeling I would pick it up. I love that they put the tropes up front because I knew I was in for a good read after seeing them. I won’t give anything away, but it was truly refreshing to find that this was not a typical sports romance book. Kaitlyn is a force to be reckoned with which had me hooked instantly. Banks had me flustered at first, but after awhile I found a soft spot for him. Don’t let the cover fool you, there are some spicy scenes in this book that will surprise you (in a good way). I loved their chemistry, their banter, and the forbidden romance of it all. I finished this in one day because I couldn’t get enough! If you are looking for a funny and steamy sports romance, look no further than this. I highly recommend picking it up and giving it a chance!

I had a great time reading this book! Enemy to lovers, a strong female protagonist, a few spicily placed scenes, and of course, hockey—it had everything I loved! The humor between Kaitlyn and Ben was great. Ben is completely enamored with Kaitlyn since she is such a strong, intelligent woman. I really enjoyed all the teammates/client’s involvement in the story and getting to see a glimpse of all the other couples. We get to witness Ben and Kaitlyn's battle to give in to their emotions and feelings throughout the novel. Seeing what Kaitlyn is going through—mood swings, heat flashes, and desiring a baby—and how it affects one's own dreams made me feel very seen. By the book's end, though, everything has been neatly wrapped. I'm eager to find out if the series has another book in it! The novel had a quick pace and was hilarious.

Banks and Killer Kaitlyn are a power couple, except they are not a couple in that sense of the word. They are beautiful, funny, sexy and flawed and determined. However, time is ticking for them both. Banks is aging and his hockey career is in jeopardy and for Kaitlin, she is aging and her hopes of becoming a mother are slipping away as her eggs begin to become “seasoned”. Working together may get Banks the deal of a lifetime, but can they also make Kaitlin’s dreams come true.

As a hockey fan, the references to the game and the players' positions was spot on. Being of the perimenopausal group, those symptoms are spot on as well!

So glad this is a series! Looking forward to reading more hockey stories!

The first book in the series was a delightful read, and this one was even more enjoyable. I found myself completely immersed in the story, eagerly turning the pages to see what would happen next. It was a truly satisfying experience.

Banks and Kaitlyn met at the airport 10 years ago and shared a sweet, memorable flight together. Little did they know they would meet again, and a misunderstanding would color their relationship for the next decade. Gone was the sweetness and bitterness, and possibly hate replaced it. Now, all they do is snipe at one another.

Banks is the oldest player on his hockey team, and his reputation isn’t the greatest either. He has just been dropped by his agent and desperately needs another one before he is traded. It looks like his old enemy, Kaitlyn, holds his fate in her hands. If anyone can turn his reputation around and make him into “the golden boy,” it’s her. She also wants to stick it to Banks’s ex-agent as he is her old boss and always treats her differently because she is a woman. Can they put aside their differences for their common goal? What’s with the annoying attraction they are beginning to feel for each other?

I was deeply moved by Banks and Kaitlyn's journey. They were a couple in the making, even if they were oblivious to it. The realization that their past misunderstanding had clouded their perceptions of each other was a poignant moment. Banks was not the immature 'man child' she had labeled him, and she was not the 'ice queen' he had believed her to be. Their gradual falling in love was a beautifully crafted slow burn that I couldn't help but root for.

As I said, I’m a huge fan of this series This fabulous writing team keeps getting better! They created a great pair of main characters and a hilarious cast of secondary ones. I can’t wait to see what the next book holds.

I am never one to turn down a sweet hockey romance. Mood Swings and Hockey Flings was definitely entertaining and worth the read. Kaitlyn with a K and Banks kept the pace moving right along and eventually made it to their happy ending. There were some snags along the way, but they were all worth it.

Mood Swings and Hockey Flings is an enemies-to-lovers romance. Kaitlyn is a sports agent breaking into the hockey scene. On her way to meet her first client, her flight is delayed and she ends up having a great conversation with the man at the bar. They flirt, even on the flight, and at the end they part ways with no contact. However, to her surprise, he is a hockey player on the same team as her client and she gets mad because he has “lied” about who he was. Banks “Benny” Bennet is a professional hockey player but is known as the bad boy, who cares-type of player who is getting up there in age. After his and Kaitlyn’s meet cute, they end up as enemies and now 10 years have gone by. At this point, they claim to hate each other but have some residual sexual tension from 10 years ago. Banks is now looking for a new agent and Kaitlyn is persuaded into helping him. Through this “arrangement,” they start to learn more and more about each other and see that there is more to the story. Will they be able to cross these boundaries to satisfy what has been hanging over their heads for so long? Is this possible “arrangement” worth both of their careers?
I really enjoyed this story. Kaitlyn is a badass woman rocking it in a man’s world. She is respected but also hated for her position in the league. She had many sides to her character and I enjoyed all of them. As for Banks, OMG I just fell in love with him. The way he handled all the things that came his way (especially when they were not true) was just amazing. He is misunderstood, manly, gently, and hiding a really big heart. I just really enjoyed learnig about him and seeing his character develop throughout the story. In the end, he is just a down right good man who wants to protect what he wants, but learns that consequences occur, but sometimes it is totally worth it!!

Where oh where do I start with this book I just absolutely LOVED it! Banks and Kaitlyn are just such wonderfully written, relatable and fun characters that you just want to see them have a happy ending. The storyline definitely draws you in to their lives and the great banter will not only give you a laugh but will keep you turning page after page. I can't wait to see what's next in this fabulous series!!!
