The relationship between Jack and Amber was very fluid, but the attraction was palpable from the start. I really loved watching them grow into their feelings for each other!

Dahlia has a way of writing what I imagine my life could’ve been if I came out as a teenager. Her writing is so real and makes me feel so seen. I am transported back to (an idealistic) high school reading this book.
This is a story of a female QB, a cheerleader & football player in a “lavender relationship “, the chaos that ensues because of the above, mixed with normal teenage high school drama. It has a lot of heart and a lot of feels, and left me smiling and giddy at the end 💚

4/5 stars - a very cute and queer teen novel about two girls finding themselves as a conflict wedges between them. Overall very easy to read and to enjoy, but it felt weird entertaining sexual tension in high schoolers! Looking forward to reading more like it :)
