It has been a long time since I read a Jen Lancaster book, but I genuinely enjoyed this. The environmental science professor gave a speech, and to be honest, it was one of the best arguments about global warming I’ve ever heard. That alone warrants notice.

This was just okay for me. There were some humorous moments. I appreciated the message of conquering your fears. 2 stars for me.

While it’s a good story about overcoming fear, I found it to be mostly average. The characters are decent, with a few humorous moments sprinkled throughout, but nothing really stood out to me—except for the ending.
The mysterious character Zeus is the one who truly piqued my interest. I found myself wanting to know more about him, and I’m hoping there might be a follow-up book focused just on Zeus. That would definitely make for an intriguing read!
Overall, while the story itself isn’t extraordinary, it’s a solid read with some good lessons on facing your fears. But if you're like me, you’ll finish the book wanting more about Zeus.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to Little A and NetGalley for their generosity in allowing me to read this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was full of bad cliches and obvious character arcs. The story with their program wasn’t very plausible and the “challenges” really drug on. I found myself skimming a lot. I expected more wit given other reviews about humor but it was more cheesy or too simple. It’s a light read, and while I usually like that I couldn’t get over the poor writing to find it consistently enjoyable.
