MC essentially has previously experienced a very toxic and emotionally abusive relationship which is slowly revealed throughout the story, so not necessarily expected from blurb/start of the book

really cute and has super important subject matters in it but a star off for the way leon's pov was written. sorry, it was just really annoying because his pov did not use full sentences all that often. definite trigger warnings added.
