My first one bed trope book and I rly liked it! I loved tiffy and Leon’s dynamic. It’s mildly opposites attract and worked out so well. All the side characters didn’t feel like side characters; they had their own life and color, were so fully fleshed out. Third act conflict was great bc it was more than just normal miscommunication, there’s a nuance to it.

Tiffy es una chica extrovertida y sin pelos en la lengua, Leon es un chico tranquilo y acostumbrado a sus rutinas monótonas. Ella es editora, él enfermero ¿Cómo sus vidas terminan cruzándose? Empiezan a compartir apartamento, ella lo ocupa de noche y él de día, no se conocen, pero el destino cruzará sus hilos. 

Desde la sinopsis y la portada del libro ya podía intuir algos clichés (de los que me gustan), así que venía preparada, pero no me esperaba que el libro también tratara de temas relacionados a relaciones tóxicas y todo el proceso de superación que conlleva. 

Cositas referentes a la redacción de algunos diálogos, me conflictuaron un poco a la hora de leer y me distraía del tema principal, pero la verdad disfruté bastante de este libro. Me hizo reír MUCHÍSIMO, en especial las ocurrencias de Rachel, Richie o de la misma Tiffy. 😂🤍

To be honest it took me some time to get used to the way Leon's chapters were written, but after some time and understanding why it was written like that, I got used to it. 

I had no idea what deep subjects are in this book, but I was positively surprised. 

In the beginning I was kinda annoyed by Tiffy, but learning with her about her past and her changing makes you look on the beginning differently. 

Over all, while I am not a total fan of the writing in Leon's parts, I really enjoyed this book and finished it quickly, because you can hardly stop reading!

Definitely one of my 2023 highlights and one of my new favourite romances! Never did I think I would say this about a book where it takes the mc's SO long to actually meet but it worked so well and the post its oh god!! so in love. 

Tiffy is such a relatable character for me, especially when it comes to thinking about her size/body and I appreciated that much. 

The way Leon worries for Tiffy? Peak whump. So much suffering but also! so much love, so it was fine xoxo

This book had me laughing out loud while I was in bed sick and I could gush about it for forever but give it a chance! The writing style in Leon's chapters always made me DNF but it fits so well into the book and really just adds it's own magic, I promise!

This book was grand, but worth noting it is not all lighthearted. Definitely read trigger warnings. I found it a small bit slow in the middle but good overall.

the engagement was a tad cringey. I liked that the solicitor friend could help get the brother out of jail.
