This is one of two books with vision impairedness rep recently! In this instance, Riley has been in an accident that has been taking his vision-- every now and then he has a very short moment of tunnel vision when he wakes, but doctors assure him he will one day wake up fully blind.

Through a company that helps people with disabilities, he meets Harper. Harper is a specialist in vision therapy, and is there to be a live in helper. Which is great, because he finds himself just a little bit homeless and on the run from an abusive ex.

There's also a many-named dog. An ugly one. He's perfect.

If you can handle a bit of hurt/comfort, I highly recommend this book about learning independence and when to accept help! Dianna Roman is a knockout author-- not one miss so far. Check it out!!

I happily finished this story in less than a day, completely absorbed in Harper and Riley's paths through change and struggles.

Riley is a daredevil, wildly optimistic man who we meet after an accident leaves him blind. On a surface level, Riley starts off as a straight man, living with his girlfriend. Thankfully, she doesn't stick around too long! Harper can be identified as a calm, reserved man who prefers the male gender. Harper takes a job as a live-in supporter for Riley, after Harper leaves an awful abusive relationship. The two men form a bond and learn to grow - together, and on their own paths.

You want to read this book yourself! Highlights include deep emotional connectios, solid BFFs, genuine support, banter, laughs, an ugly lovable pup, and the sweetest men you ever read about. This book was everything I didn't know I needed to read. I'm so glad it spoke to me and said "read me right now! Its my turn!".

This was a super cute and easy read. It does get a little dark so check trigger warnings otherwise, this is a super cute and fluffy book that will leave you smiling!
