I appreciated how everything was woven together; the terrorist attack in Atocha Station linking to politics with the elections, linking to the reason Adam is in Madrid, linking to his thoughts and beliefs on his art in the world of Spanish history and politics.
I enjoyed the narration, being inside the head of a privileged American. The need to separate himself from the stereotypes by searching for compassion from others.
