DNF’d really early because the formatting/stylization wasn’t for me which is a huge bummer bc this book was one of my more hyped books of 2025
adventurous challenging emotional funny lighthearted tense fast-paced

This book is so brilliantly stupid and I loved every page of it. Thank god I spent a year in the trenches addicted to watching live streamers because this one is for the brain-rotted chat. Part chat log part no quotation having a$$ novel; I spent most of the book reading the physical copy but I dipped into the audiobook for about an hour to see how it handled the text. Both were dizzying yet exhilarating. I literally could not remember which player was Green and which was Six and I quickly had to release my pencil mid character chart and accept that I would remained confused for the duration because this book is the internet and the internet is nonsense. I loved Six and Green. They were so infuriating. I rolled my eyes at them, yelled at them, cried with them, I was immersed in this sh!t-post fully
and I would die for Walt. You can fight me on that one.
It's hard to rate a book that is both cutting edge and so confusing at the same time but screw it. Trans rights! This is a solid 5 star because iykyk.

I enjoyed this audiobook (sounds like the physical book was quite hard to follow) and the narrator. It’s a smart satire that I thought fell a little flat in the second half. A lot of funny, biting moments that perfectly capture the hellscape that is social media. And you can’t beat the title.

Perhaps the audiobook made this more confusing to listen to with the social media dialogue?
