I really liked the satire of this book, and I didn't mind the structure. But I got into a bit of a reading slump about half way through this book, the pacing and unfolding of the plot didn't keep me gripped.

As someone across the ditch in Aotearoa, I fucking loved Lu’s humour! His satirical voice remained engaging while wading through some cooked-as-shit realities of Hollywood & most importantly, society.

It’s an amazingly unique layout/style. It took me a while to orient myself in order to make sense of the book, but despite the added difficulties for reading-flow, I’m bloody happy I stuck it out. In short, it reads as a transcript of a documentary.
