A sleeping beauty retelling where the prince's kiss doesn't wake her, but instead puts him to sleep. The story was very slow paced and boring in some parts. It was way too long, while the ending felt rushed. Rounded up from 2.5 stars.

At some points in this book, the pacing of this book was really slow. So slow, it felt sluggish and hard to proceed, but in hindsight of Auroras Depression it was also very fitting. The spin was good thought through, although Aurora sometimes felt too much self centered too read, which made it really hard to like her from the beginning to the middle of the novel. I loved the end tho, with her taking back her power and proving to everyone that she really is the queen, not just a princess or a little girl everyone made her believe to be.
