So stupid-the whole Harvey Weinstein storyline was too much, as was Liv’s constant preaching. 345 has as little chemistry and Mack and Liv did.
The whole plot felt random because why would she be so into this now without thinking about it beforehand. Also their relationship felt awkward.
The only reason this book is getting three stars is because of Vlad

A fiercely feminist romance novel that grapples with the complexities of the metoo movement and the realities of domestic abuse. Adams made things hard for herself with this one but managed to pull it off well. Honestly this bromance book club series is just so damn satisfying. These men and the women they fall for are such nicely drawn characters, devoid from reality perhaps but we can all dream (and that is what romance novels let us do).

I think I liked this one even more than the first! Strong FMC, enemies to lovers (on her part) and alpha hero/protector on his part. He absolutely falls first and it’s hilarious. This is such a fun series with the rolls reversed. Grumpy/ sunshine.
3.5 ⭐️ I enjoyed this more than the first book in the series, but it started to drag on for me a bit. I also could have done without the third act breakup. I’ll still probably continue to read the series, I think they are good palate cleansers for me!
