A great middle grade book about inclusion and love

I'm not crying. You're crying.

Brilliant. Beautiful. Poignant. Thoughtfully and skillfully written. Ivy Aberdeen’s Letter to the World made me smile and laugh and cry, it filled my heart and comforted my soul.

5 stars and my very highest recommendation. I borrowed this from the library but purchased as soon as I finished because this really needs to be in my library permanently. Speaking of libraries, this would be a fantastic addition to any middle or high school library.

So I cried, a lot. In a good way.

Amazing book about perseverance after a tornado hits a small town where some families lose everything and others can go about their normal everyday lives. The author does a great job of portraying the emotions of the tweens and teens as well as the adults. This is also a book about growing up, fitting in, the complexity of friendships, being true to oneself, and LGBTQ themes.

This is the type of book I needed when I was in middle school.

This book was amazing. I want to read it again and again. The colors!
