This was an interesting literary fiction type read. I haven’t read any other books by Nina LaCour, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. I liked all the different types of relationships this book explored, and how the romance was not the central part as a result. There was kind of a lot going on but the pacing was pretty decent. Be aware of intense themes such as addiction and sexual trauma.

not as good as "We Are Okay" but still good. i agree with some of the comments here that the two 3rd person narrators are disjointed. I felt Sara's story was much more interesting than Emilie's and the breaks between the two were very long.

Enjoyed this! Not at all what i thought it was going to be about. A few things I wasn’t quite convinced on, didn’t quite understand, felt a little too deep for their own good, but overall this was a pleasure to read!
