This was one of the worst books I’ve read in a while. It’s like Seinfeld; instead of a show about nothing, it’s a book about nothing. Nothing happens in this book. It’s all backstory. Imagine white Lotus, but just the back stories. What a disappointment.
I did enjoy reading this book, it was not a long read at all, and the mystery definitely had me continuing to turn the page. I’ve rated three stars as average because while it was very good, my life is not changed for having read it, with that being said it was not a waste of time.

I found this book pretty boring. Felt like nothing happened for most of the book and tension doesn’t really build. Also, I genuinely didn’t give a fuck about any of the characters so it was hard to care when something did happen.
